As we travelled our strongest creative urge was for us to redeem the darkness at the core of this story, by returning their presence, symbolically, to the landscapes and places which had tried to erase them.

To do this we projected their images into the darkness of the night, onto passing trains and buildings into the passing landscape. Through this we gave testimony that they had been there, that Jan had survived and that Zygmunt was remembered.
